Mission

Our WHY?

Commercial radio is broken, and the music industry is collapsing.

Something important got lost along the way.

Radio used to be about people. Music used to be about artists and their fans.

Now it’s all about metrics. Algorithms. Playlists. Demographics.

But listeners don’t want to be treated as a demographic, they want radio and music to make them feel good.

Radio used to move you, now it’s become audio wallpaper.

The Buzz was born out of frustration, but also out of love.

Love for the old-school thrill of hearing the perfect song at the perfect time.

Love for the energy of a real human voice in your ears, not another shouty promotional pitch disguised as banter.

Love for connection. For culture. For what happens when music and feeling meet again.

We didn’t set out to fix everything.

We just wanted to build something that felt alive again.

But the more we did, the more we saw.

And what we saw was a broken system. Not just in radio, but across music itself. An industry that once celebrated the artist and honoured the fan has become a factory.

Streaming has made music endless and instant, but somehow emptier.

Artists are fighting to survive. Listeners are left with ever more niched playlists filled with sound-a-like ghost artists designed to make the streaming companies more money.

And in both cases—radio and music—the listener, the music lover, is the ultimate loser in this.

It’s just not working. And we believe there’s another way.

We’re not here to shout louder than the noise. We’re here to cut through it.

To remind you how music can still change your day, or your life.

We’re here to give artists a place to be heard again. And to give listeners more than just a feed.

We want to make your mornings better. Your workday more bearable. Your memories sharper.

We want to remind you who you are, one song at a time.

And most importantly, we want to create and share moments together, again.

The Buzz is radio reinvented, but really, it’s something deeper.

It’s a movement. A rebellion. A return.

We’re building a new world.

One where artists can thrive again.

One where listeners feel more, not less.

One where radio remembers its soul.

And you’re not just invited. You’re the reason.

So stick around. This is about to get really good.
