Besides being an absolute banger of a New Order tune, and the obvious Manchester link, Blue Monday is considered to be the most depressing day of the year.
And as a radio station, we can’t be having that now!
Not when there are so many great tunes out there to lift everyone’s spirits.
So we’re asking the nation to send us the artist and title of the songs that make them feel good.
And on Monday January 19th 2026, we’re going to let you takeover the station for a day by playing all the tracks that you requested.
And that’s how we’re turning Blue Monday Yellow.
